The short answer

Mustang Fencing Services is a veteran-owned, family-operated fence and gate company with its office at 1105 Avenue H, Unit B1, Galveston, TX 77550. We focus on new installations: fences in wood, vinyl, composite, aluminum, iron, steel and chain link, and gates from a garden walk gate to an automatic driveway entry with access control. We work across Galveston County, where the island, the bay cities and the mainland each write their own fence rules, so we check which ones apply at a free on-site estimate before anything is priced.

Who we are, and who we build for

Mustang Fencing Services is veteran-owned and family-operated; our Google Business Profile carries the veteran-owned attribute. We’re based on the island, at 1105 Avenue H, and we install across the county from there.

Most of the site is about choices: which material, which style, which gate layout, and which rules apply where. The finder below points you to the pages that matter for your project.

Find the pages for your project

Three answers, and you get the materials worth comparing, the rules where you are, one guide to read first, and what to have ready for the free estimate. No prices; those come in writing after the visit.

Rules lines from the City of Galveston Land Development Regulations §2.501 and fence permit application (Rev. 03/2023), the Tiki Island and Bayou Vista fence ordinances, and the 2021 ISPSC as adopted by the City’s pool permit. A planning aid that points you to the right pages, not a permit decision.

Why a Galveston fence is planned differently

Every fence on the island deals with salt air, humidity, sandy soil and storm wind, and the rules change at each city line. That’s why we look at the site before we price a job. We talk through the materials and hardware that suit a coastal lot, and we check what the city, any HOA, and any historic or conservation district require. Our coastal fence durability guide covers the material tradeoffs, and hurricane-ready fencing explains the design choices that reduce wind load, and their limits.

The area pages go further, one place at a time: the East End, Silk Stocking and Lost Bayou historic districts, Cedar Lawn, Pirates Beach and the West End, Jamaica Beach, Tiki Island, Bayou Vista, the Bolivar Peninsula and the mainland.

How a job runs

  1. You call or send the form. Call (346) 910-8641 or use the estimate form. Tell us where the property is and what you want built.
  2. Free on-site estimate. We walk the line with you, measure each run, mark the gates, and note grade, drainage, trees and easements.
  3. Written estimate. The price comes in writing after the visit, not over the phone, because length, height, material, gates, post setting, access, soil and old-fence removal all change it.
  4. Approvals, if any apply. HOA, historic district or city permit, depending on the lot.
  5. Locate, then install. Before any post hole is dug, whoever digs needs a Texas811 ticket and waits two working days for lines to be marked. How 811 works.

How we write this site

Since September 2026 we’ve been rebuilding this site’s guides, service pages and area pages, one at a time, to a simple standard. The rebuilt pages, this one included, carry it on their face:

  • Rules link to the authority. Height limits, permits and district rules link to the city code, ordinance or permit form they come from, with the date we last checked it.
  • No made-up prices. We explain what drives the cost; the number comes in writing after the free estimate.
  • Photos say what they show. Captions describe what is visible and name a city only where our records tie the photo to a job there.
  • Reviews are quoted word for word from our Google Business Profile, never edited.
  • Each page has a review date. It’s at the foot of the page, with the date the next review is due.

If something on a page looks out of date, tell us at office@mustang-fencingandgates.com.

Questions we get about this

Is Mustang Fencing Services veteran-owned?
Yes. Mustang Fencing Services is veteran-owned and family-operated, and our Google Business Profile carries the veteran-owned attribute.
Where is Mustang Fencing Services based?
Our office is at 1105 Avenue H, Unit B1, Galveston, TX 77550. Estimates take place at your property, so the quickest first step is a call to (346) 910-8641 or the estimate form on the contact page.
What do you install?
Fences in wood, vinyl, composite, aluminum, iron, steel and chain link, in privacy, semi-privacy, picket and horizontal styles; driveway, estate, double, farm-style, security and custom gates; and electric gate openers with keypads and access control. We work for homeowners, HOAs and property managers, businesses and acreage owners.
Which areas do you serve?
Galveston County: all of Galveston Island including the historic districts, Cedar Lawn and the West End, plus Jamaica Beach, Tiki Island, Bayou Vista, the Bolivar Peninsula including Crystal Beach, and the mainland from Texas City to League City. The areas we serve page lists each place and whose fence rules apply.
Why don’t you publish prices?
Because the price depends on the length and height of the run, the material and style, the number and width of gates, how the posts are set, site access, soil and slope, removing an old fence, and any approvals. We measure first at a free on-site estimate and give you the number in writing after the visit.
Do you handle permits and HOA approval?
We check at the estimate which rules apply to your lot: the city’s fence limits and permit, any HOA, and any historic or conservation district. Who files what depends on the city and the HOA, and we go through it with you before work is scheduled.
Do you offer financing?
Financing is available through the providers listed on our financing page, subject to credit approval.
